At the start of the year, I made a vision board collage full of words and pictures I felt drawn to. Recently, I was looking through an old Magnolia magazine and encountered a poem entitled ‘Deep/Roots’. In reading the poem, I grew curious for it also had pictures and words from my vision board. I chose to create a found poem out of both to further reflect on deeper meaning so naturally built into this coincidence.
