For this activity, you will need to find a compelling picture of a person doing something in a setting. Pick an image you respond to with curiosity and excitement. Trust the process, and don’t reason your way out of picking something.

In your journal...

Imagine that this scene is playing out before you. You've been invited to the place from the photo you have chosen for a specific reason.

For your next step, you will need a separate piece of paper that will function as your notes page. You’ll also need your writing from last session.

For the final part of Activity Part 1, you will need to phone a friend, and have your notes page handy.

For this season of my life, the image of the table has also become another repetitive clue for me to excavate and dig into the meaning of. I am brought back to what I have learned about the purpose of the table and the sacred space it creates to feed my soul relationally and my body physically.
