This work is an abstract piece completed years prior and has been one of my favorite small scale works. The graphite lines create movement and texture on the subtle, inorganic splotches of color. Soft pinks and denim blues bring a sense of calm to the work. Fleur de lis/leaf patterns occupy the left side as a nod to the Etruscan wall designs I fell in love with in Italy.
